Managing Irrigation in a Water-Short Year

PureSense and Fresno State University's Center for Irrigation Technology jointly present a workshop on irrigation tools and strategies to help growers cope with a shrinking water supply. This half-day event will bring irrigation experts and the latest technology together in one place to address an important issue in our state.

The Center for Irrigation Technology at Fresno State University is an internationally recognized independent testing laboratory, applied research facility and educational resource that conducts irrigation equipment testing and evaluation.

PureSense helps California growers make better crop irrigation decisions and realize more profit per acre through the efficient use of water. Water and soil are limiting factors in crop performance. Growers can gain greater control of those factors by monitoring, measuring, planning and scheduling their irrigation needs with the technology and service provided by PureSense.

This event will be held at the Claude Laval Water and Energy Technology (WET) Incubator at Fresno State University.  The address is 5370 N. Chestnut Ave, Fresno, CA 93740-0018. It is at the southwest corner of Barstow and Chestnut avenues on the Fresno State University campus. For an interactive map of the campus, click here
